About
Yutong Su received his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Shanghai University.
He entered computer graphics and game development in the 1990s, spent five years at Inventec Shanghai growing from a computer graphic artist to a software engineer, and is especially proud of his 1997 work with the 47-tek team on an early true 3D PC game engine, as well as his participation in software development for Sega Saturn platform during the same period.
He later became a computer teacher at a high school, where he taught Information Technology and General Technology. Inspired by his colleague, chemistry teacher S. Y. Zhu, he developed the ChemWeb chemical visualization website, which provides interactive molecular drawing, SMILES analysis, stereochemistry interpretation, and 2D/3D structure visualization to support chemistry learning and teaching.
